Inclined Vertical Rail-mounted Mine Submersible Pump
Example: QKSG550-230-560
Q stands for submersible operation; K indicates mine use; S represents water-filled wet type; G denotes high-voltage motor (1.14kV-10kV) (low voltage omitted); 550 indicates a flow rate of 550 m³/h; 230 represents a head of 230 m; 560 signifies a motor power of 560 kW.
① Vertical Installation Method
The vertical installation method of submersible electric pump units is suitable for vertical shaft sump drainage and surface dewatering drainage. The submersible pump is suspended in the shaft sump. Advantages include reasonable force distribution, stable operation, small sump footprint, and high drainage efficiency. The disadvantages are the greater depth of the vertical sump and the need for sufficient hoisting space, with higher requirements for supporting heavy loads.
② Horizontal and Inclined Installation Methods
Horizontal electric pump units offer advantages such as easy installation, simple lifting, and reduced sump construction work. Combined with horizontal pump carriers and rollers, they enable rapid drainage operations.
③ Applications: Main Drainage Underground, Rail-mounted Emergency Drainage, and Trackless Inclined Shaft Production Recovery Drainage
Main Drainage: Submersible pumps serve as main drainage equipment, featuring a small footprint and minimal roadway construction. They are installed using clamp rollers or foundation brackets combined with pump carriers. Positioned in connecting roadway sump pump locations, they eliminate the need for dedicated pump rooms, with distribution valves set in the connecting passage between the pump room and the sump.
Rail-mounted Emergency Drainage: The electric pump unit is lowered along the rails to the bottom of the shaft, aiming to complete drainage in one operation. The pump carrier allows quick movement within the roadway, equipped with flexible quick-connect devices. As water levels and volumes change, the submersible pump adjusts its position swiftly, reducing drainage time. It also has minimal requirements for lifting equipment.
Large-Flow Inclined Vertical Mine Rescue Pump for Trackless Emergency and Production Recovery Drainage:
For abandoned mines without rails or conditions unsuitable for direct installation of large submersible pumps, a combined drainage system is used, consisting of submersible pumps, suction covers, pressure-resistant hoses, and booster pumps. The booster pump, installed at the bottom of the main drainage pump, feeds water to the main pump via steel pipes for drainage operations. Booster pumps are easy to maintain and move, avoiding suction of sediment and debris. The drainage method facilitates simultaneous drainage, repair, and rail laying until the shaft bottom is drained.
